Police issue appeal after high-value e-bike stolen in Dorset

Police are investigating the theft of a high-value e-bike in Dorset. At around 1.45pm on Sunday April 3, the victim locked his Mustache Game 10 e-bike with a set of other bikes to a railing outside Fluid Surf Shop on Banks Road in Sandbanks, Poole.

A few minutes later they went to check on the e-bike and found that the lock had been cut and the bike was missing. It is described as black and gold with 29-inch wheels, a medium frame and Fox Float forks. The dashboard of the electric bike had been removed by the owner before leaving it.

The suspect is described as white, in his thirties, with a chubby face, a three-day beard and shoulder-length blonde hair sticking out from under a hat he was wearing. He was also wearing a black jacket and dark colored pants.

PC Jody Durkin-Jones, of Dorset Police, said: “This bike has cost the victim a lot of money and he is very keen to find it. There were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the theft or who may have captured it on dashcam to contact us.
