BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Local Tradition Surfing Santas of Cocoa Beach returns live on Christmas Eve, December 24th at 8am. As always, the event will take place on the beach behind the Coconuts on the Beach restaurant. Hundreds of surfers and thousands of spectators arrive from all over the world each year, with nearly a billion people watching the coverage of Surfing Santas.

The event, which celebrates its 12th year, features live music, hula dancers, a costume contest and hundreds of Santas on the waves. Come dressed in your most festive gear and join in the fun.

The new Surfing Santas t-shirts and other merchandise will be for sale on the beach during the event as well as on the website. SurfSantas.org and other participating locations listed below.

“Surfing Santas is one of the most unique ways to celebrate a vacation here on the Space Coast. We are known as the surfing capital of the East Coast, and this iconic tradition fits perfectly into the framework, ”said Peter Cranis, Executive Director of the Space Coast Tourism Board.
